Returns & Refund Policy

Made to order

All Art Lectio prints are made to order.

Each print is produced specifically for your order once your order is placed. For this reason, we do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds for change of mind.

This does not affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law or any other consumer protections that apply in your country.

Damaged, defective, or incorrect items

Please inspect your order when it arrives.

If your artwork arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us at hello@artlectio.com within 7 days of delivery.

Please include:

  • your order number;
  • clear photographs of the item;
  • clear photographs of the packaging, especially if the parcel or packaging is damaged;
  • a photograph of the shipping label, if available;
  • a short description of the issue.

Once we have assessed the issue, we will arrange an appropriate remedy where required, such as a replacement, reprint, or refund.

We aim to respond within 2 business days.

Please do not return the item unless we ask you to. In many cases, photographs are enough for us to assess the issue with our print partner.

Returns

Returns must be approved before being sent back.

To request a return, contact us at hello@artlectio.com with your order number and details of the issue.

If a return is approved, we will provide the correct return instructions by email.

Please do not return items to the sender address shown on the parcel, to our print partner, or to any address without prior approval. Unauthorised returns may not be received or processed.

Faulty items

If your item has a manufacturing fault, print defect, or other issue covered by applicable consumer law, you may be entitled to a remedy.

Depending on the issue and applicable law, this may include a replacement, reprint, refund, or another remedy required by law.

We reserve the right to assess the item and request photographs or other reasonable information before providing a remedy.

Change of mind

Because each print is made to order, we do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds for change of mind, including where:

  • you selected the wrong size;
  • you chose the wrong artwork;
  • you changed your mind after ordering;
  • the item does not suit your space as expected;
  • you found another item you prefer;
  • you no longer want the item.

Please check the product description, size, colour, and delivery address carefully before placing your order.

Colour and appearance

We make every effort to display artwork and product images accurately.

However, colours may vary slightly depending on your screen, device settings, lighting, and the natural characteristics of printed materials. Minor colour variation is not considered a fault unless the item is materially different from the product description or preview.

Incorrect delivery address

Please ensure your delivery address is complete and correct before placing your order.

If an order cannot be delivered because the address provided at checkout was incorrect or incomplete, we may need to charge for redelivery or for a replacement order.

If the parcel is returned to our print partner or carrier facility, we will contact you where possible to arrange next steps. Parcels are not always returned to us, so a replacement may require a new order.

Order cancellations and changes

If you need to cancel or change an order, please contact us immediately at hello@artlectio.com.

We may be able to cancel or amend an order before it enters production. Once an order has entered production, it may no longer be possible to cancel or change it because the print is already being made for you.

A cancellation or change is not confirmed until we have confirmed it by email.

Exchanges

As items are made to order, we do not offer direct exchanges.

If your item is damaged, defective, or incorrect, we will assess the issue and arrange an appropriate remedy where required.

If you would like a different size or artwork, a new order will need to be placed.

European Union customers

If your order is shipped to a country within the European Union, you may have certain cancellation or withdrawal rights under applicable consumer law.

However, some cancellation rights do not apply to goods that are made to the consumer’s specifications, made to order, or clearly personalised.

Because Art Lectio prints are produced to order, please contact us immediately at hello@artlectio.com if you wish to cancel an order. We will assess your request in line with the status of your order and any applicable consumer laws.

This section does not affect any rights you may have if your item is damaged, defective, incorrect, or not as described.

Refund processing

If a refund is approved, it will be issued to your original payment method.

We aim to process approved refunds within 10 business days. Please allow additional time for your bank, card provider, or payment provider to process the transaction.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.

Where a product fails to meet a consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a remedy such as a repair, replacement, or refund.
