Shipping & Delivery Policy

Worldwide shipping

Art Lectio ships to most countries worldwide.

Each Art Lectio print is made to order. We work with a global print and fulfilment network so that, where possible, orders are produced and dispatched from a facility close to the delivery address. This helps reduce delivery times, shipping distances, and shipping costs.

Local fulfilment is used where available, but it is not guaranteed for every product, size, order, or destination.

Shipping costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address, order contents, and available shipping options.

If free shipping or a promotional shipping rate is offered, this will be shown at checkout before you place your order.

International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, VAT, carrier handling fees, brokerage fees, or other government charges. Unless these charges are collected at checkout, they are the customer’s responsibility.

Estimated delivery times

Delivery estimates include both production time and shipping time.

These timeframes are estimates only. Delivery times may vary depending on the product ordered, production location, shipping method, destination, customs processing, carrier delays, public holidays, local disruptions, and peak periods.

Remote, regional, island, or difficult-to-access locations may take longer.

Production time

Each Art Lectio print is produced after your order is placed.

Most prints are produced and dispatched within 1–4 business days. During busy periods, holidays, or periods of high order volume, production may take slightly longer.

Because each print is made to order, production time must be added to shipping time when estimating delivery.

Packaging

Unframed prints may be shipped flat or rolled, depending on the print size, destination, and production facility.

Smaller prints may be sent in protective envelopes or flat mailers. Larger prints are usually sent in protective tubes, triangular tubes, or sturdy cardboard packaging.

Please take care when opening your parcel, especially if your print arrives rolled.

Order tracking

Where tracking is available for your order, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details after your order has been dispatched.

Tracking availability depends on the destination, product type, and shipping method. Some postal services and economy shipping options may not include full tracking.

Tracking information can take some time to update after dispatch. If your tracking link does not show movement immediately, please check again later.

If you have not received a shipping confirmation within 7 business days of placing your order, please check your spam or junk folder. If you still cannot locate your tracking information, contact us at:

Shipping carriers

Orders may be shipped using local postal services, courier services, or a combination of both.

The carrier used for your order depends on the product, shipping method, destination, and fulfilment location. We are unable to guarantee a specific carrier unless this is expressly offered at checkout.

P.O. Boxes and delivery restrictions

A residential or business street address is recommended for all orders.

P.O. Boxes may not be available for all products, shipping methods, or carriers. Courier services generally cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes.

If a P.O. Box, parcel locker, military address, remote address, or restricted delivery address is not supported, your order may be delayed, cancelled, or require an alternative delivery address.

Address changes

Please ensure your shipping address is complete and correct before placing your order.

We may be able to update your address before the order enters production or dispatch, but address changes are not guaranteed.

Once an order has entered production, been allocated to a print facility, or shipped, we may be unable to change the delivery address.

If an incorrect or incomplete address is provided at checkout, and the parcel cannot be delivered, additional charges may apply for redelivery or replacement.

Order cancellations

If you need to cancel an order, contact us immediately at:

We may be able to cancel an order before it enters production. Once an order has entered production, cancellation may no longer be possible because the print is already being made for you.

A cancellation is not confirmed until we have confirmed it by email.

Cancellations, returns, replacements, and refunds are handled in accordance with our Refund Policy.

Customs, duties, and import taxes

Where possible, orders are produced locally or regionally to reduce customs delays and import charges. However, local production is not guaranteed for every product or destination.

International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, VAT, brokerage fees, carrier handling fees, or other charges imposed by the destination country or carrier.

These charges are not controlled by Art Lectio. Unless collected at checkout, they are the customer’s responsibility.

Customs processing may delay delivery. Some countries may require additional recipient information, such as a tax identification number, before delivery can be completed.

Damaged, defective, or incorrect items

Please inspect your order when it arrives.

If your artwork arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us at hello@artlectio.com within 7 days of delivery.

Please include:

  • your order number;
  • clear photographs of the item;
  • clear photographs of the packaging;
  • a photograph of the shipping label, if available;
  • a short description of the issue.

Please keep the item and packaging until we have reviewed your request, as they may be needed to assess the issue.

Once assessed, we will arrange an appropriate remedy where required, such as a replacement, reprint, or refund.

We aim to respond within 2 business days.

Please do not return the item unless we ask you to. In many cases, photographs are enough for us to assess the issue with our print partner.

Lost or delayed shipments

If your order has not arrived within the estimated delivery window, please contact us at:

Before contacting us, please check:

  • that the shipping address in your order confirmation is correct;
  • whether the parcel has been left in a safe place;
  • whether someone else at the address accepted the parcel;
  • with neighbours, reception, concierge, building management, or your local post office where relevant;
  • the tracking link, if tracking was provided.

If your order appears to be lost or significantly delayed, we will investigate with our fulfilment partner or carrier and help arrange an appropriate next step.

If tracking shows the order as delivered but you have not received it, please contact us so we can review the situation. The carrier may require information from you as the recipient to assist with an investigation.

Freight forwarding services

If you choose to ship your order to a freight forwarder, parcel forwarding service, hotel, temporary accommodation, mail redirection service, or third-party receiving address, Art Lectio is not responsible for loss, damage, delay, or delivery issues that occur after the parcel has been delivered to that address.

Incorrect address or refused delivery

Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping details at checkout.

If a package is delayed, returned, lost, or undeliverable because the address provided was incorrect or incomplete, additional charges may apply for redelivery or replacement.

If a package is refused or not collected, additional charges may apply. Made-to-order prints are not eligible for refund simply because delivery was refused or the parcel was not collected.

This does not affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law or any other consumer protections that apply in your country.

Delivery delays outside our control

We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs processing, incorrect delivery information, local delivery disruptions, public holidays, severe weather, natural disasters, strikes, border delays, or other events outside our reasonable control.

However, if your order is significantly delayed or appears to be lost, please contact us so we can investigate and help resolve the issue.
